Terms of Service
By using the PixelRender application processing API ("Service"), you are agreeing to be bound by the following terms and conditions ("Terms of Service"). PixelRender ("Company") reserves the right to update and change the Terms of Service from time to time without notice.
1. User Accounts
- You must be 13 years or older to use this Service.
- You must provide a valid email address manually to complete the signup process securely.
- Your login may only be used by one person. A single login shared by multiple people is not permitted. You may create separate logins for as many people as your plan allows.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and passwords, including API Keys. The Company cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage from your failure to comply with this security obligation.
2. API Usage Rules and Rendering Limits
- API access is evaluated concurrently evaluated on a per-minute basis relative to your active plan architecture.
- Customers are expressly forbidden from utilizing rapid repetitive scheduling specifically to overflow the video rendering clusters in order to bypass limits.
- Exceeding active concurrent queue allocations or maximum compute minutes on your plan will result in automatic service rejection via HTTP Code 402/429.
3. Subscription Billing and Credits
- Subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly schedule and are strictly non-refundable for partial months of service or compute exhaustion.
- Purchased generic compute credits roll over per month indefinitely until canceled, at which point all available data and keys are terminated without recovery.
- If a rendering process fails due to our internal system errors, compute credits will not be subtracted.
4. Intellectual Property Ownership
- We claim no intellectual property rights over the material you provide directly into the composition pipelines or APIs. Your profile and materials uploaded remain identically yours.
- The Company does not pre-screen Content, but Company and its designee have the right (but not the obligation) in their sole discretion to refuse or remove any Content that is scheduled for processing.
5. Prohibited Use of the Platform
We require adherence to our dedicated Acceptable Use Policy. Using automated systems for generating illegal distributions, bulk spam workflows, or intentionally submitting cyclic errors attacking our rendering pipeline will result in immediate API key suspension.
6. Service Availability Disclaimer
Your use of the Service is at your sole risk. The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. While we strive to maintain robust SLAs resolving queues predictably, we cannot guarantee zero delays or intermittent API latency during absolute load surges.
7. Limitation of Liability
You expressly understand and agree that the Company shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary damages, including but not limited to, damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data or other intangible losses resulting from: (i) the use or the inability to use the service; (ii) the cost of procurement of substitute goods and services resulting from any goods, data, information or services purchased or obtained or messages received or transactions entered into through or from the service; (iii) unauthorized access to or alteration of your transmissions or data.
8. Account Suspension or Termination
The Company, in its sole discretion, has the right to suspend or terminate your account and refuse any and all current or future use of the Service, or any other Company service, for any reason at any time. Such termination of the Service will result in the deactivation or deletion of your Account or your access to your Account, and the forfeiture and relinquishment of all Content in your Account.
